Our seasonal greenhouse is in full swing by April 1st of each year.
We have vegetables and annuals, ready to plant in your garden, as well as a huge selection of perennials. There is also a wonderful selection of tropical plants that we purchase directly from Miami, FL. We have a wide selection of hanging baskets, herbs, ferns, decorative and shoreline grasses, and vines. Our tree and shrub selection is huge, and we will do our best to special order any plant that you desire while we are in season.
Greenhouse manager, Nancy Shelley, tries to find a few plants each year that are different and quirky and not readily found in our area. However, a large portion of our native plants are grown locally on the Northern Neck. Best of all, our plants are watered with natural rain water that we collect in two 2,500 gallon barrels and pump through our irrigation system that was custom designed by owner, Joey Allison.
